My experience in South Korea

There is no clear way to start describing what was the best experience of my life. It was simply something that changed me and helped me grow. It was not an easy adventure, because I faced many obstacles in the way such as the language barrier, lack of knowledge about Korea, housing, etc. Regardless of all the obstacles, it was fun to express myself with hand gestures and using dictionaries so that people could guess what I needed.

There is no doubt that Korea University is the best. It was simply great, not only because of the classes or my classmates, but because of three things that defined myself: KUBA (Korea University Buddy Assistant), MANNAM INTERNATIONAL (A cultural understanding and networking event), and the Tigers Football Team. KUBA gave me the opportunity to meet people from all over the world, there were approximately 700 exchange students and I also made Korean friends.

This experience is one of the things that defined me as a person and helped me grow in areas such as comradeship, responsibility and tolerance. I also made two best friends that I will never forget.
One of the opportunities that presented themselves in Korea was to be able to travel to Japan. I can say that this academic exchange was a fantastic experience, especially because I went to a different place. I learned the basics of a third language, made great friends and went to beautiful places. I would not change Korea for anything.
