• 7th semester Mechanical Engineering student – Academic exchange at HZ University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands

Last winter I had the opportunity to participate in an academic exchange in the city of Vlissingen in the Netherlands. This was possible thanks to the support of my family during the whole process, and also to the academic exchange program at CETYS. I decided to do it at HZ University in the Netherlands because it gave me the opportunity to fulfill my dream of traveling to Europe, and also take courses from my academic program outside of Mexico.

One of the best parts of an academic exchange is the opportunity to meet people. In my case, I got to know people from all around the world, and their different cultures left a very good impression on me. It is interesting to see how people have different customs and ways of thinking, but you can still make the greatest friends during your stay. Once you experience this, you realize that the world has a lot to offer, and the only way to discover these things is to go out and find them yourself.
