The whole process, from preparing everything, to being in another place and coming back helps you grow in all areas of your life. It is one of the best experiences I have had, and I recommend it to any person willing to live an adventure, because thats what it is. Academic exchange is an adventure. It is very important to leave with the intention to learn new things, other cultures, different systems, ways of thinking, and even a new environment.

Having been in Salamanca helped me grow and mature, because it makes you get to know yourself and other people around you better; since you have to be around new people and different customs. Thanks to this experience, you come back home with new academic knowledge, but also cultural, personal, environmental, political, and economic knowledge. Being away even helps you get to know your country a little bit more, it helps you appreciate Mexico and feel more proud about being Mexican. Having been away from home and my country for a period of time was amazing and irreplaceable.
